Your Tasks

  • Infrastructure Management:
    • Responsibility for the operation and maintenance of AWS and Google Cloud infrastructures, as well as on-premise systems
    • Management of AWS accounts (Master & Sub-accounts), cost optimization, and invoice verification
    • Management of SaaS products (Kubernetes, databases, ELK)
    • Monitoring, backup, and patch management of EC2 instances
    • Management of AWS client accounts
    • Google GKE Management, CI/CD, and Git integration
    • Nice to have: Management of on-premise IT infrastructure and coordination with internal and external IT partners
  • GitLab Management:
  • Ensuring the smooth operation of our GitLab servers, which contain all our code
  • Project Technical Support:
    • Providing technical support for client projects, including CI/CD processes and interface connections
    • Technical Support of legacy systems
  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Potential assumption of leadership responsibilities within the L2 team
    • Technical leadership and mentoring of other Ops/Cloud/Infrastructure staff
    • Strategic planning and development of infrastructure to support future growth
  • Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and On-Call Duty:
    • Commitment to SLAs
    • Participation in on-call duty

Your Profile

  • Comprehensive knowledge of AWS Cloud services and Google Cloud Platform (GKE).
  • Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and ELK components.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and backup strategies.
  • Experience in patch management of EC2 instances.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD processes and Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform)
  • Knowledge of Linux administration, network, and IT administration.
  • Knowledge of PHP, SQL (MySQL & PostgreSQL), and APIs.
  • Experience with Gitlab Server.
  • German and English


Additional desirable skills:

  • Experience with Azure cloud services
  • Java
