As Sales Operations Manager, you manage the overall productivity and effectiveness of the sales organization. You maintain close relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the efficiency and success of the global sales organization. Functions essential to the productivity and effectiveness of the sales force include planning, reporting, setting and managing quotas, optimizing sales processes, sales training and implementing sales programs. Your Tasks

  • Taking responsibility for the implementation of optimal performance measurement and management programs required for the success of the sales organization
  • Introduction, monitoring, optimization and digitalization/automation of standardized sales processes and creation of the corresponding guidelines with the aim of increasing sales efficiency
  • Conception and further development of a structure and process organization based on the sales strategy and its implementation in our sales tools (especially our CRM system Salesforce)
  • Preparation and expansion of sales reporting as well as control and support of the operative sales channels
  • Ensuring a high level of quality, accuracy and process consistency in the planning, forecasting and budgeting approaches used by the sales organization and other stakeholders
  • Interface between sales managers and senior executives as well as international sales locations, the IT organization and external service providers
  • Support the sales team in making decisions based on data
  • Regularly produce all sales KPIs and reports, proactively identify additional sales KPIs and key areas for analysis and automated reporting
  • Responsibility for the end-to-end process of tracking the sales process and conversion rates across the sales funnel
  • Increase sales productivity by identifying bottlenecks in the sales process and finding ways to eliminate them
  • Allocating quotas to salespeople and ensuring that financial targets are optimally distributed across all sales channels and resources through the quota program
  • Ensuring easy and successful introduction of new products and solutions in the sales organization
  • Training and coaching on the sales tools and methods used
  • Ensuring and promoting data quality through targeted initiatives
  • Maintaining and managing CRM data accuracy and improvement programs (prioritizing investments in enabling technologies, recommending changes and enhancements to CRM, advising on the design of future systems)
  • Consideration of seamless integration of sales tools into our IT infrastructure and the associated data exchange between sales and adjacent systems
  • Administration, maintenance and further development of our CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Collaboration with the marketing team in the evaluation and forwarding of marketing leads to the sales team

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent is an advantage
  • At least two years' experience in sales management with Salesforce (or comparable CRM system)
  • Experience in B2B sales at enterprise and SME level
  • Experience in a SaaS environment is an advantage
  • Proven ability to design and implement reporting technologies and structures that impact a sales organization and lead to achieving key metrics
  • Extensive experience in implementing and developing a CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Experience working with sales executives in a technology environment
  • In-depth knowledge of process optimization, development and digitalization as well as basic project management skills
  • Excellent organizer and planner with problem-solving skills and hands-on mentality
  • Innovative and strategic thinking and acting, promoting innovative ways of working in a team
  • Relevant experience in business development and leading pre-sales and sales teams
