Be part of the core team at Qspaces, our new Qvest startup, dedicated to developing and operating cloud based system solutions for international media and broadcasting clients. As a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing our Solutions-as-a-Service approach. Collaborating closely with Qspaces operations teams, go-to-market colleagues, Qvest Solution Experts, and management, you will embody the true DevOps spirit through innovative and robust cloud solution designs.
Your Tasks
- Cloud Solution Architecture: Design and implement robust, scalable cloud solution architectures (multi-SaaS solutions) based on AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Media Workflow Optimization: Work with industry experts to develop optimized, cloud-based workflows for media applications
- Security & Compliance: Ensure adherence to best-in-class security standards (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR, NIST)
- Optimization & DevOps: Drive continuous performance, reliability, cost efficiency, and carbon footprint reduction through DevOps methodologies
- Innovation & Technology Leadership: Stay at the forefront of cloud technologies and media industry advancements to foster ongoing improvements and innovation in our SaaS solutions
- AI Integration: Leverage state-of-the-art AI components to create innovative solutions and unlock synergies in media workflows
- Issue Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve solution-related challenges as part of our high-quality operations framework
Your Profile
- Cloud Expertise: Minimum of 5 years' experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and a deep understanding of cloud-native services and Infrastructure-as-Code tools
- SaaS & Microservices Architecture: Proficiency in designing and deploying SaaS solutions using microservices and serverless architecture patterns
- Cybersecurity Knowledge: Strong understanding of cloud security principles, encryption, compliance standards, and security assurance procedures (e.g., penetration testing)
- Programming & Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) and automation tools is a plus
- DevOps Mindset: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and monitoring/observability tools (e.g., Datadog)
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical abilities to troubleshoot complex cloud architectures and media workflows
- Certifications: Advanced certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Google Cloud Professional Architect, or similar
- AI/ML Knowledge: In-depth understanding of AI/ML applications for analysis and automation
- Experience in Media Technology: Background in media asset management (MAM), video streaming technologies, or broadcasting is a plus
