Principal (m/f/d)

We are looking for a technically skilled and strong leader to further develop our business. In this role you will be responsible for leading the successful project delivery and the definition and implementation of strategic bids and project working closely with management and global sales.

In your role, you will be responsible for delivering key projects on time and on budget, overseeing all organizational, commercial and technical aspects of a project in a close collaboration with the team leaders in your reporting line. You will be committed to achieving our growth objectives and will be involved in customer projects to drive customer success.

Ideally, you will have a media and entertainment, broadcast, or an IT background in digital media. You will have excellent communication and leadership skills as well as an established network within the media industry.

• Provide advice and support to major clients in the media & entertainment, broadcast and telecommunications sectors and adjacent fields like marketing and sales
• Represent Qvest practices and portfolio as a trusted advisor and thought leader
• Manage and oversee the full customer engagement cycle, from early conversations, winning key projects and public tenders, to the end-to-end delivery of key projects implementation
• Work closely with the responsible project teams to define and meet project objectives in terms of time, cost and quality
• Responsible for achieving strategic commercial objectives and action plans for the client portfolio in line with corporate strategy
• Dealing with technically demanding tenders or proposals
• Project development and realization, proposal preparation and presentation
• Responsibility for internal projects with Qvest

• Degree in engineering (Diploma or Master) and many years of professional experience in the media and broadcast sector, ideally as a project manager or technical lead
• Proven experience in technical management of international projects and support of media, broadcast and telecommunications clients
• Understanding of modern IT concepts such as virtualisation, cloud computing, web services, microservices, etc.
• Good project and process management skills
• Good understanding of international sales and bidding processes
• Relationship management skills at C-level and middle management level
• Established network in the media and broadcast industry
• Business fluent in English. German is an advantage, but not mandatory
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
