We are looking for an experienced technical and people leader to drive our business growth in France & Benelux as a Principle. In this role you will be responsible for supporting sales development and leading successful project delivery in these regions, working closely with management and global sales.

As Principal, you will work closely with the sales team and build productive and professional relationships with key people within client organisations and use these relationships to identify, qualify and realise potential business opportunities. You will be instrumental in defining and executing strategic bids and projects.

In your role, you will be responsible for delivering key projects on time and on budget, overseeing all organisational, commercial and technical aspects of a project. You will be committed to achieving our growth objectives and will be involved in customer projects to drive customer success.

Ideally, you will have a media and entertainment, broadcast, or an IT background in digital media, which you will be able to apply to sales and gain client confidence. You will have excellent communication and leadership skills as well as an established network within the media industry.

Your Tasks

  • Responsible for broadcast and media customer with regional focus on France & Benelux
  • Further develop the region in line with Qvest company objectives as one of the key markets in Europe
  • Provide advice and support to major clients in the media & entertainment, broadcast and telecommunications sectors and adjacent fields like marketing and sales.
  • Represent Qvest practices and portfolio as a trusted advisor and thought leader.
  • Manage and oversee the full customer engagement cycle, from early conversations, winning key projects and public tenders, to the end-to-end delivery of key projects. Work closely with the sales organisation and commercial teams on defining bid strategies and winning opportunities.
  • Work closely with the responsible Project Manager and Technical Lead to define and meet project objectives in terms of time, cost and quality
  • Project management, project delivery, project team leadership
  • Deliver the strategic commercial objectives and action plans for your client portfolio in line with the business strategy
  • Research, identify and acquire new customers, maintain existing customer contacts and build productive and professional relationships with key people within the customer organisation
  • Support the sales process in close cooperation with the sales team: preparing proposals, designing solutions and pricing, preparing offers, presenting them to customers and negotiating contracts
  • Work with the sales team during customer consultations and project meetings.
  • Dealing with technically demanding tenders or proposals
  • Project development, proposal preparation and presentation
  • Participation in strategic projects within the Qvest Group in close cooperation with management
  • Responsibility for internal projects with Qvest

Your Profile

  • Degree in engineering and many years of professional experience in the media and broadcast sector, ideally as a project manager or technical lead
  • Proven experience in technical management of international projects and support of media, broadcast and telecommunications clients
  • Established customer contacts in the media and broadcast industry
  • Understanding of modern IT concepts such as virtualisation, cloud computing, SOA, web services, microservices, etc.
  • Good project and process management skills
  • Good understanding of international sales and bidding processes
  • Familiarity with sales management software (CRM) and MS Office
  • Relationship management skills at C-level and middle management level
  • Established network in the media and broadcast industry, particularly in the Paris region
  • Business fluent in French and very good written and spoken English. German an advantage, but strictly not mandatory
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
