As an IT System Administrator, you will be responsible for planning, configuring, and maintaining the IT infrastructure of a subsidiary of the Qvest Group as part of the internal IT team at our site in Munich. Your varied and challenging tasks will include processing 1st level support tickets, technical administration of the site, as well as the administration of our Microsoft 365 environment and our Active Directory. You will be responsible for independently taking over tasks and topics, which you will develop further with the team, and have interfaces with all different departments and locations of the assigned subsidiary.
Your Tasks
- 1st level support at the Munich location and support for colleagues in the national and international locations with regard to all IT inquiriesProcessing inquiries using the ticket system (Zendesk)
- Installation and configuration of laptops and peripherals for new and existing employees at the site in Munich
- Planning, installation, configuration, maintenance, and documentation of our IT infrastructure in Munich (servers, firewalls from PaloAlto and WatchGuard, switches from HP and Cisco Meraki, as well as WiFi from Unifi/Ubiquiti and Cisco Meraki)
- Monitoring of IT systems, IT network infrastructure, applications, and IT services as well as troubleshooting
- Administration of firewall rules and VPN connections
- Administration of network services, in particular DNS, DHCP, VLAN, routing, WAN
- Administration of Microsoft 365, Sophos Central, Mimecast, Active Directory, Azure AD, telephone system, Nextcloud
- User management in our systems (user and role administration)
- Mobile device management (BYOD, Android/iOS, phones/tablets, etc.)
- Inventory management of IT hardware and IT software for the site in Munich
- Involvement in technical documentation, concepts, and manuals license management of IT-relevant licenses and their invoices

- You have very good written and spoken German and English skills
