As an IT System Administrator, you will be responsible for the planning, configuration and maintenance of the entire IT infrastructure of the Qvest Group as part of the internal IT team at the main location in Cologne. Your diverse and challenging tasks include handling 1st level support tickets, administering our email gateway as well as our Microsoft 365 environment and our Active Directory. On your own responsibility, you will independently take on tasks and subject areas that you develop further and have interfaces with all departments and locations of the corporate group.

Your Tasks

  • 1st level support at the main location in Cologne and support of the colleagues in the national and international locations regarding all IT requests
  • Processing of requests in the ticket system
  • Planning, installation, configuration, maintenance and documentation of our IT infrastructure
  • Administration of Microsoft 365, Sophos Central, Mimecast, Active Directory, Azure AD
  • Administration of distributors, groups and teams
  • User management in our systems (user and role administration)
  • Mobile device management including procurement and contract management
  • Installation and configuration of laptops for new and existing employees
  • Creation of technical documentation, concepts and manuals
  • Licence management of IT-relevant licences and their invoices
  • Inventory management of IT hardware and IT software in our ERP system

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed vocational training as an IT specialist or a comparable vocational or academic education
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows Server, Windows client)
  • Very good knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, Exchange Server, MS-Office
  • Basic knowledge in user and role administration as well as remote support
  • Experience with MDM, Mimecast, Atlassian products and ticket systems would be desirable
  • High level of personal responsibility and independence with a "can-do" attitude
  • Structured approach and strong hands-on mentality
  • Accurate, conscientious and responsible working style
  • Organizational talent, ability to work under pressure and in a team
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
