Ready to shape the next media supply chain?

Broadcasters, streamers and content owners are rethinking how content moves after production: from ingest and asset management to versioning, localisation, quality control and distribution across linear TV, VOD, OTT and social. Mergers, vendor consolidation and AI are accelerating that change.

At Qvest Engage, we are building our Digital Media Supply Chain (DMSC) practice. As our Senior Pre-Sales Solution Architect, you will help shape it with clients — from the first CTO conversation through advisory and solution design to the start of implementation. You combine media technology expertise with commercial judgement and turn complex requirements into architectures clients can put into practice.

This is what you will be doing with us

  • Lead architecture conversations with CTOs, heads of media operations and business owners, independently from the first meeting.
  • Lead preliminary studies and advisory engagements: capture requirements, define target architectures, assess build-versus-buy options and evaluate markets and vendors. Develop CAPEX and OPEX models covering three to five years.
  • Design end-to-end media supply chains across media and digital asset management (MAM/DAM), orchestration, media processing, metadata and rights-aware workflows, distribution and OTT integration — in cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Work with sales to shape proposals, define scope and turn advisory engagements into implementation projects.
  • Act as design authority when projects begin, guiding architecture governance and vendor decisions and ensuring a clear handover to delivery.
  • Build a reusable, AI-first reference architecture with our Applied AI, delivery and partner colleagues.
  • Use AI tools and agents as a natural part of your own and your team’s research, analysis, documentation and solution design.

You have

  • Around ten years or more of experience in media technology, including several years as an architect or senior consultant working on content supply chains, MAM or media operations.
  • A background with a broadcaster, streamer or content owner; a systems integrator or consultancy; or a media technology vendor in a solution architecture or pre-sales role.
  • A track record of defining target architectures and build-versus-buy recommendations that stand up to scrutiny from client leadership and procurement.
  • Vendor-neutral judgement across the MAM, orchestration, media processing and distribution landscape.
  • The confidence to lead senior stakeholder workshops, present recommendations and negotiate scope.
  • Enthusiasm for AI backed by practical results: you use AI tools and agents daily, have changed how a team works with them and can share concrete examples.
  • Fluency in German and English, and willingness to travel within Europe

You enjoy turning complex media workflows into clear architectural decisions and want to help build a new practice? We look forward to meeting you.

    Nice to have

    • Experience in rights management and metadata modelling, linking contracts, rights and assets, managing availability windows and designing rights-aware workflows.
    • A background in OTT platforms or video distribution.
    • Experience shaping operating models or supporting transformation at a media company.
    • French language skills.
