Apprenticeship as an IT Specialist in Application Development (m/f/d)

You’ll become part of an innovative team working on our products Makalu and ClipBox, enabling next-generation broadcast and media technology. Along the way, you’ll gain hands-on experience across the entire software development lifecycle – from concept and implementation to deployment.

• You actively contribute to the further development of our products Makalu (Cloud Playout Automation) and ClipBox (Studio Ingest & Playout Server)
• You develop and maintain microservices, REST APIs, and modern web applications using current programming languages and frameworks
• You support the design, implementation, and testing of new software components
• You learn how to containerize and deploy applications using Docker and cloud technologies
• You contribute to the design and integration of databases for our media technology platforms
• You create technical documentation and participate in code reviews
• You attend vocational school and take part in internal training sessions and workshops

• A secondary school diploma (Realschule) or (technical) high school diploma with good grades, especially in mathematics or computer science
• Initial experience in programming or a strong interest in it (e.g., through school projects, personal projects, or online courses)
• Strong logical and analytical thinking skills
• Enthusiasm for new technologies and motivation to continuously learn and grow
• Team spirit, initiative, and a reliable way of working
• Good German language skills and basic knowledge of English
