As a Junior IT System Administrator (m/f/d), you will support our internal IT team at the Cologne headquarters in maintaining and developing the Qvest Group’s IT infrastructure.

Your varied tasks include handling 1st-level support requests, assisting with the administration of our email gateway, and contributing to the management of our Microsoft 365 environment and Active Directory. 

You will work closely with experienced colleagues, gradually taking on your own areas of responsibility while continuously developing your technical skills. In this role, you will interact with different departments and locations across the company and help ensure smooth IT operations.

Your Tasks

  • 1st level support at the Cologne headquarters and support for colleagues at national and international locations regarding all IT-related inquiries
  • Handling of requests in the ticketing system
  • Planning, installation, configuration, maintenance, and documentation of our IT infrastructure
  • Administration of Microsoft 365, CrowdStrike, Mimecast, Active Directory, Entra ID, and Atlassian software
  • User and group management in our systems (user and role administration)
  • Mobile Device Management including procurement and contract management
  • Installation and configuration of laptops for new and existing employees
  • Creation of technical documentation, concepts, guides, and manuals
  • Inventory management of IT hardware and software in our asset management tool and ERP system

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed vocational training as an IT specialist or a comparable vocational or academic education
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows Server, Windows client)
  • Very good knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, Exchange Server, MS-Office
  • Basic knowledge in user and role administration as well as remote support
  • Experience with MDM, Mimecast, Atlassian products and ticket systems would be desirable
  • High level of personal responsibility and independence with a "can-do" attitude
  • Structured approach and strong hands-on mentality
  • Accurate, conscientious and responsible working style
  • Organizational talent, ability to work under pressure and in a team
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
