As a (Senior) DevOps Support Engineer in our Service & Support business unit, you will support our customers in Denmark directly on site or remotely and thus ensure the smooth business operation of all relevant media, broadcast and IT systems. The implementation of technical trainings at the customer's site is also one of your tasks. In addition, you will support our team in the preparation of technically demanding tenders.
The Project
A DAM/MAM solution for a large country wide government department. A Security clearance or the ability to achieve a security clearance is required.
Your Tasks
- Analyze errors in complex production systems and evaluate logs to identify and resolve issues, sometimes under high time pressure
- Monitor, analyze, and continuously improve systems and workflows
- Communicate effectively with customers and manufacturers
- Assist in selecting and integrating products for complex post-production systems to modernize, expand, or replace existing solutions
- Provide support for the 24/7 hotline and ensure timely issue resolution
- Act as the primary point of contact between clients, vendors, and development teams
- Manage and triage client-reported issues via the ticketing system, ensuring timely follow-up and closure
- Collaborate with vendor developers to troubleshoot, escalate, and resolve technical problems
Your Profile
- Completed training or studies specializing in Media Informatics, Network and Communication Technology, or you are an IT Specialist, preferably with a focus on technical production or online media/new media. Career changers with relevant and many years of practical experience are also welcome
- Strong ability to multitask and manage multiple issues/projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and focus
- Leverage basic networking knowledge (IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) to support troubleshooting when needed (ping, tracert, telnet, etc.)
- Apply SQL skills to analyze data, investigate issues, and support troubleshooting
- Use PowerShell scripting to automate routine support tasks
- Work effectively under pressure and handle critical incidents in high-stakes environments
- Experience in Java development
- Familiarity with OpenText products (OTMM, OTDS, DMTS, SOLR, etc.) is considered a strong plus
- Experience supporting and improving workflows within Vantage to optimize operations is considered a strong plus
- Very good written and spoken Danish and English
