We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Key Account Manager for Nordics (m/f/d), to represent our business and support the development of this region. The ideal candidate will be passionate about media and entertainment with the drive to support, retain and grow our client base, already having a strong record of B2B technology sales in this industry. You'll gain the trust of our clients, building professional relationships with key executives at client companies and selling our services through knowledge and integrity. You should be driven to succeed and will be measured by our growth targets, so you will know how to drive new business to achieve group commercial success. Frequent travel across the Nordics will be required.
Your Tasks
- You will represent the Qvest Group and define market and customer strategies together with the territory lead
- You will take responsibility for in-country sales practices, including budget ownership, cross-selling and synergy growth across Qvest Group companies
- You will take on the classification of customers in a tiered model defined by Qvest
- You will have a 360° view of the customer and their needs
- You will define an engagement plan with specific KPIs for customers to ensure success
- You should have a close relationship to customers’ decision makers (CIO, CTO, purchasing department, department heads, etc.)
- You will have the knowledge to identify and understand client needs, budgets, strategies and objectives
- You will have direct engagement with general managers of Qvest Group companies and principals / practice leads to collectively achieve strategy goals for our clients
- You will have direct responsibility for negotiating Master Service Agreements
- You will have an understanding of the competitive landscape
- You will own identifying suitable opportunities, defining bid strategies, representing them at steering board meetings, taking ownership of internal processes, and holding responsibility for a commercially successful bid/offer
- Reporting takes place in Salesforce
- You are responsible for compliance with the approval matrix
Your Profile
- A graduate or master's degree in the relevant fields (e.g., business administration, engineering, industrial engineering, or similar)
- Proven experience in defining and executing market and customer sales strategies in dynamic environments
- Proven experience and deep understanding of large integration projects across public and private broadcasters across the region
- Understanding of the public procurement process and EU tender portals
- Established contacts and understanding of the media supplier/vendor ecosystem across the Nordics
- Validated experience in the fields of digital transformation, multi-product and solution sales (Cloud, Software/SaaS/PaaS) in the media & entertainment field, specifically in a B2B sales environment
- Demonstrated track record of success in sales within media and entertainment technology, showcasing a deep understanding of market dynamics, client needs and product/service positioning
- Passion for data-driven sales management
- Highly customer-focused and excellent social skills with the capability to inspire and build trusted relationships, both, internally and externally
- Motivated to work closely with customers, placing services directly with them, and thereby understanding the customer's needs
- Experienced in managing multiple projects, priorities, customers and stakeholders simultaneously
- You have experience working on and delivering large broadcast integration projects across public and private broadcasters throughout the region
- Commercial acumen and expertise in negotiating and closing deals
- Relationship management skills at C-level and mid-management level
- Must be comfortable working with global teams across multiple time zones and be prepared to travel within the region when requested
- Routine handling of sales management software (CRM) and MS Office
- Business fluent Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian and English in spoken and written form
- Proactive, ambitious and hands-on
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to build and manage sales pipeline
