As a (Senior) DevOps Support Engineer in our Service & Support business unit, you will support our customers in Denmark directly on site or remotely and thus ensure the smooth business operation of all relevant media, broadcast and IT systems. The implementation of technical trainings at the customer's site is also one of your tasks. In addition, you will support our team in the preparation of technically demanding tenders.

The Project

A DAM/MAM solution for a large country wide government department. A Security clearance or the ability to achieve a security clearance is required.

Your Tasks

  • Analyzing errors in complex production systems
  • Evaluating logs and fixing the problems, sometimes under high time pressure
  • Monitoring, analyzing and improving systems and workflows
  • Communication with customers and manufacturers
  • Assistance in selecting and combining products for more complex post-production systems (to improve, modernize, enlarge, replace existing systems)
  • Support for the 24/7 hotline

Your Profile

  • Completed training or studies specializing in Media Informatics, Network and Communication Technology, or you are an IT Specialist, preferably with a focus on technical production or online media/new media. Career changers with relevant and many years of practical experience are also welcome
  • Relevant experience with Java, TomEE and similar Java services (backend) and HTML/CSS/Javascript (frontend)
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, entity modelling, RESTful API and event-driven workflows.
  • Knowledge in supporting and customising with OpenText Media Management OTMM version 20+ and Trouble shooting skills on OTMM servers is a plus
  • Experience in workflow design and integration through APIs
  • Extensive experience in configuration settings, metadata, security, user search security and front-end development
  • Knowledge of content migration from legacy systems and defining new and secure ingest workflows
  • Experience in defining business requirements and technical design outcomes
  • Ability to map metadata, asset ingest formats, system integration
  • Very high customer, service and solution orientation as well as excellent technical comprehension skills
  • High resilience in stressful situations, strong de-escalation and teamwork skills
  • Structured work and analytical thinking are required
  • Experience in technical service and support are welcome
  • Convincing appearance and assertiveness
  • Very good written and spoken Danish and English
