Data Protection Officer with Focus on CISO and ISO (m/f/d)

Are you ready to bring your expertise in data protection, information security, and ISO certifications to Qvest GmbH? We're currently seeking a Corporate Data Protection Officer (m/f/d) who will act as the key interface between IT and Legal, playing a crucial role in shaping and maintaining our compliance and security structures. In this position, you’ll be the main point of contact for all matters related to data protection, information security management, and ISO certifications. You’ll report directly to the executive management of the Qvest Group, taking on a high level of responsibility and enjoying plenty of opportunities for personal and professional development.

ISO Certifications (e.g. ISO 27001, ISO 9001)

• Planning and managing certification processes
• Organizing internal audits and training sessions
• Maintaining documentation and continuously improving relevant policies and procedures
• Coordinating internal queries, support services, and group-wide certification standards

Information Security

• Identifying and assessing risks, and deriving appropriate security measures
• Leading awareness initiatives across the organization
• Collaborating closely with our internal IT department

Data Protection

• Coordinating data protection activities across the Qvest Group, supporting affiliated companies in implementing legal requirements
• Monitoring and ensuring GDPR compliance
• Advising executive management and key stakeholders
• Conducting internal audits and data protection training
• Raising employee awareness and maintaining relevant documentation

• Degree in law, IT, business administration, or a comparable field
• Additional training or certification as a Data Protection Officer, ISMS Manager, or Auditor is a plus
• Professional experience in data protection, information security, and ideally ISO certification
• Solid knowledge of GDPR, ISO 27001 (and ideally ISO 9001)
• Strong analytical skills, structured working style, and excellent communication skills
• High level of integrity, a strong sense of responsibility, and assertiveness
• Fluent in both German and English
