As Team Lead you will be responsible for a team of 5-7 people and will be accountable for the design and implementation of technical solutions in the field of media technology, in particular conference and control centre technology within our international customer projects. You will take responsibility for the success of the project and work with your team to realize targets on time and within budget. You are a strong communicator and have an in-depth understanding of current technical solutions and market developments in the media technology and IT sector.
Your Tasks
- Project and tendering responsibility: Overall responsibility for selected projects in the field of media technology, in particular conference and control centre technology: e.g. overall technical conception and implementation of a selected project, division of the project into workflows, monitoring of project implementation with project management, processing of change requests and budget control
- Technical and operational management of the team
- Escalation management for the projects assigned to the team
- Technical commissioning of AV and IT components as well as problem identification and resolution
- Carrying out acceptance tests and supporting media technology processes
- Leadership tasks such as team development, team support, team management, implementation of management decisions or goals
- Administrative tasks such as personnel planning for your team, ensuring the utilization and quality of your team's work, compliance with company standards and more
- Monitoring trends and developments in media technology to identify and recommend innovative solutions
Your Profile
- Degree in media technology, electrical engineering, computer science or comparable qualifications with several years of professional experience, ideally with a focus on conference and control centre technology
- Sound knowledge of audio, video, and control systems (e.g. Crestron, Extron, AMX, QSC, Biamp, etc.) as well as experience with current media technologies and standards
- Good knowledge of project and process management
- Proven experience in technical management and implementation of international projects
- Ability to motivate and lead a team
- Very good command of written and spoken English
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
