We are looking for a team leader for our DevOps team in the area of Cloud Project Operations & Cloud Solutions Architecture.
Your Tasks
- Technical and disciplinary leadership of the DevOps team (Cloud Project Operations & Cloud Solution Architecture) including continuous development of team members
- Building and establishing an integrated architecture team for the conception, further development and operation of complex cloud infrastructures
- Responsibility for operational excellence:
- Setup and ongoing optimization of our DevOps workflows
- Selection, introduction and further development of operations tools (e.g. ticketing, monitoring, dashboards)
- Implementation and maintenance of customer-specific cloud components (incl. qibb modules)
- Overall technical responsibility for SLA-based cloud system architectures in 24/7 operation (incl. transition and operational design)
- Close coordination with customers, internal stakeholders and project teams as primary contact person for operational issues
- Active role as cloud evangelist within Qvest - promoting modern DevOps practices and knowledge transfer within the company
- Development and implementation of concepts for continuous improvement of existing customer setups and operational service quality
- Managing a geographically distributed, virtual team with a focus on collaboration, quality and efficiency
- Capacity planning, skills management and recruitment of new team members as part of the growth path
Your Profile
- Successfully completed Master's degree in Computer Science, Informatics or an equivalent field of study
- At least five years of experience in the DevOps environment
- In-depth expertise in the areas of cloud design, networking and infrastructure
- Initial experience in team management desirable
- In-depth practice and comprehensive certifications with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and GCP (professional certifications desirable)
- Secure tool knowledge with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Git (certifications desired)
- Sound knowledge of distributed systems, CI/CD design and system automation
- Experience with monitoring solutions (Datadog, Prometheus, ELK Stack, Grafana etc.)
- Good knowledge of network technology, security, firewalls, load balancing
- In-depth understanding of existing project and team setups in the cloud and media context is an advantage (focus on best-in-class MediaCorp projects)
- Experience in intercultural collaboration desirable
- Proven ability to coordinate technical topics across teams and translate them into strategic target images
- Business fluent in English (written and spoken)
