We are seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to design, deliver, and support modern media‑workflow architectures across ingest, asset management, editing, replay, routing, orchestration, and scheduling systems.

You will be responsible for ensuring multiple platforms, such as media asset management (MAM) and production asset management (PAM), workflow orchestration, resource scheduling, editing systems, replay servers, and automation layers, as well as playout, broadcast control, and storage environments - operate together seamlessly in high-demand production environments.

You combine deep expertise in broadcast and media & entertainment technologies with strong workflow design capabilities, vendor management experience, hands-on integration skills and the ability to contribute to pre-sales and solution definition activities? Then you’re the perfect fit for our team!

Deine Aufgaben

Workflow Architecture & System Integration

  • Design end‑to‑end media workflows across ingest, logging, editing, replay, metadata, and delivery.
  • Integrate modern media platforms such as:
    • Media Asset Management (MAM) systems and Production Asset Management (PAM) solutions
    • Workflow orchestration engines (e.g., low‑code automation platforms)
    • Resource scheduling/booking systems
    • Replay servers and live production systems
    • Playout automation, broadcast control systems, and storage platforms (depending on project scope)
  • Define workflow logic, metadata mapping, error handling, and operational behaviour
  • Design and integrate workflows across hybrid and cloud-native environments

Pre-Sales & Solution Design

  • Support pre-sales activities by contributing to solution design, architecture proposals, and technical discussions with clients
  • Translate customer requirements into scalable and feasible architectures, including cloud-based and hybrid deployment models
  • Collaborate with sales and account teams to shape winning proposals and define solution scope

Orchestration & Automation

  • Build and optimise automated workflows for content movement, quality checks, routing, and publishing
  • Define failure‑mode behaviour, observability, alerting, and operator‑friendly error surfacing
  • Ensure consistent ID/naming logic and reliable end‑to‑end flow execution

Technical Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead technical workshops, requirements gathering, and workflow definition sessions
  • Oversee implementation work across integrators, vendors, engineering teams, and developers
  • Provide hands‑on guidance during commissioning, testing, migration, and operational rollout
  • Guide implementation of IP-based video and audio infrastructures, including ST-2110 environments

Documentation & Knowledge Transfer

  • Produce clear workflow documentation, architectural diagrams, and handover materials
  • Create operational guides, acceptance criteria, and system behaviour explanations

Cross‑Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with engineering, operations, editorial/creative teams, and software developers
  • Act as a technical liaison across vendors and technology partners
  • Provide clear communication around risks, dependencies, blockers, and delivery timelines

On‑Site Participation

  • Support on‑site build, commissioning, validation testing, and operational readiness activities
  • Assist technical teams during system launch phases and early operational periods

  • Experience with modern orchestration/automation platforms
  • Familiarity with scheduling/booking/resource management systems
  • Understanding of replay/slow‑motion systems, editing environments (e.g., Adobe Premiere), and media routing
  • Exposure to playout automation, broadcast control (e.g., 2110 environments), and storage technologies is a strong plus (depending on project needs)
  • Strong API, integration, and metadata‑mapping knowledge
  • Experience with cloud platforms and architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of IP-based video & audio networks

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication: able to explain complex workflows simply
  • Leadership in stand‑ups, Kanban boards, and agile delivery environments
  • Strong stakeholder management across operations, engineering, and vendor teams
